Just wanted to add that at LlamaLAN XV (my first LlamaLAN), I really had a good time and its mainly thanks to the friendly llamas at the venue who made me feel welcome and the others near me who played endless games of Trackmania with me and helped me secure last place continually !!

I think I've got these if they were released last weekend. Although there was an update for Audiosurf & Tower Defence late last night. Also I've put my steam client into 'offline' mode.

How long a patch lead should I bring? 3 or 5 meters?

Edit: Bringing the 20M lead just in case I need to patch into next door!

Can I check that it's not a problem if I bring an office chair to sit on, rather than the aging chairs usually handed out at LAN parties?

Hey there, since you're on the topic of card games and such, I'd be more than happy to bring Uno & Fluxx. They're both good for 2 - 8 players at least. Fluxx is for the programmer types out there, everyone else just doesn't seem to 'get' the game. Hoping I can mess with some heads in Llamatopia ...
