The time approaches for us to start considering what tournaments to run. We will be looking to organise several, probably 1 v 1 for everyone to show off their personal prowess, and a small team game maybe a 2 v 2 or 3 v3 we'd love to organise something larger but we need a 100% commitment from everyone attending to make that work.

We will also be running off the cuff 'fun' tounaments on the big screen for everyone to play late at night for a few laughs.

So three questions ...

1st - Do you want to participate in a tournament if we play (of any kind) ?

2nd - What games do you have installed, or intend to have installed by the time of the event?

3rd - What would your personal preference for a tournament/s be ? (this is not a vote just getting a feel for it)

3. I play Team Tournaments personally, never really been into 1 v 1, Otherwise my LAN favourite is a Battlefield Triathalon always works well and gives an even playing field.

I'm happy to install more if need be for other tournaments or whatever, but can't think of any more LANny games I intend to get installed by then.

3. Galactic Conquest space dogfight 1v1, 4v4, Galactic Conquest team domination, Galactic Conquest objective space battles (can you tell where my heart is?), apart from those I'm not too fussed tbh I enjoy team games (small to large team sizes) and duels. (subtly waves hand) But you intend to run Star Wars competitions, yes.

(I will be willing to play any other game, If I can Borrow it, Patches and the mods for it *Cough* thanks)

3rd - Anything, im very social and will join in in any event, that i have the games, or the games can be provided for. I like larger team orientated battles.

Possible Tournies:

CS/DOD : 8v8, or 6v6 ladder
BF/dc/etc: 16v16 (or half the room v other half)
Quake3: FFA
COD: FFA, 6v6, 8v8
UT2004: FFA, ALL VS the bot Monsters (diff levels of monsters/intensity) Mod, 8v8
